About Bettie

An afternoon among the trees.

I've always been drawn toward people, possibility and adventure. At heart, I'm a connector, an adventurer and an eternal student of life.

I love connecting ideas, people and noticing the invisible threads that weave through our lives. The moments that seem like coincidence until suddenly… they aren't.

Again and again, I've watched ordinary experiences quietly change the course of a life — not because the moment itself was extraordinary, but because someone became willing to truly see it.

That has become the work of my life.

For more than thirty years, I've explored psychology, embodiment, meditation, trauma-informed practice, coaching, energy medicine, yoga and contemplative traditions. I've learned from remarkable teachers, lived beneath the redwoods, built communities, facilitated gatherings and walked alongside people through seasons of tremendous joy and profound loss.

But the greatest lessons never came from a classroom.

They came from paying attention.

I don't believe we're here simply to get through life.

I believe we're here to erotically participate in it.

To recognize the patterns, relationships and quiet invitations that are already unfolding around us. When we begin to see them, trust naturally grows. And trust gives us the courage to live more honestly, love more deeply and become more fully ourselves.

One of my greatest joys is watching someone realize that their life is bigger, richer and more connected than they ever imagined. Not because anything outside of them changed. Because something inside of them did.

If something in these words feels familiar… I'd love to meet you.
